On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Nusantara Hall of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pancasila, the Faculty of Law officially launched the Doctoral Program in Law. The launch event was carried out in accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek Dikti) Number: 924/E/O regarding the Approval of the Opening of the Doctoral Program in Law at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pancasila. Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Eddy Pratomo, S.H., M.A., expressed his hope that the Doctoral Program in Law at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pancasila, would produce excellent candidates for doctoral degrees who uphold the noble values of Pancasila.
It should be noted that the Doctoral Program in Law at Universitas Pancasila offers four concentration areas, namely Constitutional Law, Business Law, Criminal Law, and International Law. The launch event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej, S.H., M.Hum., the Rector of Universitas Pancasila, Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, S.H., M.Si., FCBArb., and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Education and Development Foundation of Universitas Pancasila, Dr. (HC) Ir. Siswono Yudo Husodo.
The Doctoral Program in Law at Universitas Pancasila is led by Prof. Dr. Hatta Ali, S.H., M.H. He stated that the teaching methodology implemented by the Doctoral Program in Law will combine practical and theoretical approaches. Furthermore, the Secretary of the Doctoral Program in Law at Universitas Pancasila announced that the number of prospective students for the program has reached 22 individuals, with hopes for further increase.
