Pancasila as the philosophy and basis of national life has been opened to unite the nation with all its diversity so that it can live in harmony and peace.
Along with the rapid changes in the global world, maintaining the Pancasila ideology is increasingly having many challenges.
Information that is very open, makes many understandings, views and ideologies that are not appropriate and can damage the nation’s order easily accessible, where this has the potential to affect the younger generation and further distance themselves from their identity as the Indonesian Nation.
As a university that bears the big name of Pancasila, Pancasila University realizes that universities have a great responsibility in preserving the values of Pancasila.
The implementation of Pancasila values needs to have various strategies so that it does not become obsolete in following world changes, and should be able to strengthen and become a model for the world community.
Therefore, on Thursday (13/11) at the Nusantara Hall, Faculty of Law, Pancasila University inaugurated several officials with various strategic positions.
One of those appointed was Dr. Darmansyah Djumala, S.E., M.A. as Chairman of the Center for Pancasila Studies at the University of Pancasila (PSP UP).
Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, S.H., M.S.I., FCBArb, as the Chancellor of the Pancasila University hopes that Darmansyah’s expertise, who is currently also a member of the Board of Experts for the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), is expected.
